The New York Times revealed an important truth today. (We Brits have known it for years.)
Living in Canada = Both British and American candy are readily available :3
Also, is it really true that they don’t have Smarties candy in the US? Just wanted to know.
It can’t have effect in fact, that is exactly what I suppose.
For anyone with a sudden craving, you don’t have to cross the pond to get these treats. We have loads of them in Canada. And I hate to say it, but the article is right. I can’t bear hersheys, but I love cadburry.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a Kit Kat to tuck into.
And here’s another fact: Australian candy is even better! Our chocolate tastes better and our sweets are more adventurous. I’ve lived in the UK for 18 months now and I pine for the sweet, sugary goodness of home.
my favorite non-pc candybar slogan:
Yorkie – Don’t feed the birds
who wrote the HILARIOUS comment about me being right?? i must meet you!
my dear family, are we forgetting NUTRAGEOUS?
Bean is right. This is racist candy. Snicker at whom? Bounty on whom? Fruit and nut – not that there is anything wrong with those… What is wrong with being crunchie? Do we have anything against fat Turks? Maltesers sounds X-rated. Am I a flake?
yum. maltesers. delicious.
The Brit chocolate is better for sure. However, nothing, but nothing beats a peanut butter Reese’s. Oh, if only the Brits had a version of that… (But then again, it would probably contain marmite…)
Yah, you are so right!
AEROOOO!!!! my love!!!!
pure rubbish. also, minstrels?! that candy is RACIST!
A very funny conversation went down in the CoJ comments section...
