I’m loving the neutral colors and androgynous look of Danish designer Pernille Engbirk‘s collection. She’s new on the scene, having graduated from The Danish School of Design in 2004. “I come from a family of architects,” she says, “and am very much influenced by the straight lines and simplification in Danish classical architecture.” Nicely done.
This can’t succeed in reality, that is what I think.
really gorgeous pieces. thanks for finding her!! (dang, her website is a bit risque… beautifully photographed – but a wee bit difficult to see how the clothes actually look. Glad you posted the Refinery29 link too – gives a better idea of how the clothing actually looks.)
this is so my style! i especially love the gray pants in the second row. the black socks and white pumps are genius with them. i wish i’d thought of it first!!
LOVE these looks!!
I love the look! Especially the one where the model is wearing a nude top and black leather jacket. Sweet blog you’ve got here :)
love the movement in these style shots and the simplicity of it all.
i’m always happy to see new designers…thanks for this post Jo! have a nice weekend
