When Alex and I went to Berlin last year, we stayed at a photographer’s rad apartment, which had chairs covered in fake fur throws. Alex adored them, but I had forgotten about it until I saw the gorgeous home of Welsh illustrator Kat Heyes. Don’t her chairs look so inviting? Her home is warm and calming.

I love this look—-Jenna Lyon’s house in the new Domino has these over the chairs in her living room. she paired them with some very glam leather seating and it was a great juxtaposition—really warmed up the space!
we bought a couple of ghost chairs for the new house. i want to get a few of these to drape over them to save the seat from scratches. plus, they are just pretty! :)

It totally makes me want some hot tea and book. I also love when designers layer a (faux) fur rug over a rougher texture, large area, rug.
How cozy and “wintery”…just looking at these pictures makes me want to be at home with a cup of hot chocolate:)
I am all about the fake fur, how comfy. Its cold here today and a wish I could curl up with a movie on that chair.
i used to have a sheepskin rug (not animal friendly i know!) but the smell drove my dog wild, he was constantly digging at it and trying to eat it and eventually destroyed it by peeing all over it and also spilling my make up on it! i do love them though, so cosy and soft.
these rooms are so glamorous and chic, but also animal friendly! i love it.
