Happy holidays! Hope you’re having a fun week. I wanted to thank you again for reading over the past year, whether you check in every day or now and again. I’m so grateful for all the smart, funny thoughts and comments. We’ll be visiting family in California over the next week — and posting photos on Instagram — but in meantime here’s a look back over the past year on Cup of Jo, if you’d like to see…

We also challenged Deb from Smitten Kitchen to show us the best things to grab at a New York deli. (She’s a genius!)

Culture posts, such as the best Instagram accounts (including seven women who just get it), the particular pleasure of rewatching TV series, swapping books with your partner, thrilling books and shows, five magazines we can’t put down, and six brilliant podcasts.
Motherhood posts, including what surprised me most about parenting, a pep talk for pregnant women, what to register for your baby, how to teach kids consent, raising a transgender child, one couple’s infertility journey, Toby and Anton in conversation, and, of course, our annual Motherhood Around the World series — including Namibia and Italy.
