Sezane's French Wardrobe Staples

The French clothing brand Sézane is where we go to find timeless, feminine pieces. They just introduced La Liste, a permanent collection of wardrobe essentials, and it’s full of great staples to wear for years. We stopped by their New York location to style a few of our favorites…

First things first, how gorgeous is their new Manhattan store? Their La Liste collection features everything from booties to jeans to dresses. (I love this one.)

We invited two friends — Sarah and Casey — to browse the collection and try on their top picks.

Casey dressed up a graphic tee (they also have 70s and 90s) and high-waisted jeans with a blazer and patent loafers, for an effortlessly cool look. Swap the tee for a silk shirt and the jeans for trousers, for a work-friendly outfit.

Sarah chose a classic striped shirt (how cute is the back?!), ankle jeans and leopard block heels. The everyday uniform, mastered.

Next, Casey tried a cozy sweater with geometric stitching and slightly puffed sleeves, paired with metallic sneakers and a leather bucket bag.

Sarah wore a chore jacket with a silk tank, black jeans and leather sneakers.

See Sézane’s full La Liste collection here, if you’d like, which includes coats, dresses, sweaters and leather goods. What would you wear? Their ruffled blouse and 1958 jeans are two of the most-worn pieces in my closet, and this bag is so pretty, too.

Thank you so much, Sézane!

P.S. A beautiful Paris apartment, and a French bra trick.
