Yeah to be honest, I’d rather date guy #1. I mean, I still get the final say in whether his intent to marry is ever carried out, but at least he’s got ambition. Guy #2 is too wishy washy. I like a dude who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to go after it.
Haha I actually thought they were both women!
I love this, thank you for sharing. Great story and illustration. http://whimsicalwolfblog.com/
I feel for the next generation. Nobody knows what they want.
1st comments the better one. Hands down, ??
I’ve never been so smitten with a cartoon. <3
This reminds me of my revised endings to fairytales for my four-year-old daughter. Cinderella spends a year having lunch every week with the prince while she gets a paying job and her own apartment. Then they decide together to get engaged!
I love this!
Fantastic!
This is still male-centered. The tiring thing about rom-coms is that the plot line centers around the man’s story (in the end, I’ll get the girl).
I’d prefer to see a rom-com that is truly female-centered (or even gender non-conforming centered! gasp!).
Sometimes what’s sexy is not what’s politically correct. What would Esther Perel say?
hallelujah, ashley.
Agree.
mari gets it right every time.
On point! Thanks, Mari.
I love the way Mari thinks!

I love these drawings- wishing the best to Mari!

Even though it’s utterly predicable… I still always want a rom-com to have a happy ending. Real life is complicated enough…!
