Which are you? By the wonderful Grace Farris.
P.S. Looking forward and lipstick styles.
Actually, my biggest pandemic hair stress was that I had to get my passport renewed and they need a picture, of course. No hats allowed! So I needed to do SOMETHING because that’s a picture that’s gonna be with me for 10 years… I booked an appointment right after the salons re-opened but then cancelled because there was a surge in the B-117 variant. I ended up cutting my own bangs and it looked so good, at least for that day, that I immediately went out and got my passport picture and sent the application out. Phew!
Totally incognito, with knit hats. I cut my own bangs but I have curly hair so the rest of it – no can do my own haircut….. Also: no camera on the zoom, thank you…
I lucked out got a haircut before salons closed I have a pixie cut and had my side’s buzzed so I’m good thank god
I’m quarantined with a secret lover and he lit his hair on fire during a candle lit bath. So that’s his pandemic hair.
I also accidentally set my hair on fire, several years ago (note to all: refrain from making overly dramatic gestures near a lit Yankee Candle.)
Fortunately in a way, my hair is so not-great that no one noticed.
Haha I love this. I keep thinking I’ll weather the plague looking either Pentecostal or GI Jane, depending on how annoyed I get with hair touching my neck. Right now it’s weird twisty things that possibly look old-fashioned or possibly 90s rave. Best not to think about it.

Well it will be a toss up between Chop it and The Incognito. It just depends upon whether or not I can keep the scissors away from my hair
Chopped it and love how it turned out!!
Add another one to the “I was about to schedule my pixie cut maintenance before quarantine started” mullet. Been using bobby pins to keep my hair out of my face. Seriously considering wearing scrub caps at work, even though I’m not in the OR. Possibly could claim it’s an infection control measure?
Definitely the black swan
I’ve been coloring my hair for almost 30 years due to hereditary premature gray. Last July I shaved off 24 inches of crazy thick curly hair because of chemo. It started coming back WHITE in November! Just before lockdown a stylist snuck up on me with a cape and shears while my daughter did my nails. Now I’m rocking a faux hawk!!! I say, if you want to shave it, go for it! It’s very liberating :)
My youngest girl keeps pestering me to get myself a new haircut, I just might go for it this weekend!
I can just imagine the run on salons when we’re all able to go back!
LOL what happens in the bun stays in the bun. SEEN!
Noe of the above? I’ve been trying out the Curly Girl Method for a bit now. One upside for me in quarantining has been the chance to dry out different products and techniques without worrying about how my hair turns out! It’s mostly been great – I have time to let it air dry, and it just comes out shiny and for the most part, in beautiful curls! Too bad there is no one here to see it :)
I’ve been getting tons of compliments over video chats…and eye rolls about the effort I must be putting in – but it’s the least I’ve ever done to my hair! Hoping I come out of this with a solid, easy routine.
This is what I thought chemistry lab was and I’m loving it not just with my hair but with everything. Especially makeup: I can finally do proper full-day trials with all stuff I’ve been afraid to use!
I am now “The Chop’t” (!). Well, more like “The Cautiously Trim’t Whilst Sweating Profusely.” Turned out all right!
