This is hilarious and so true.

Move to Arizona! It’s been in upper 70s, and I’ve been using AC in my car ride during the day in January, LOL.
Ha! So true!
I won’t ever forget that one time a guy asked me what my blood type was to start conversation!!! haha. I really appreciate Mari Andrew, and your Blog

Ha! Also known as “my elevator ride at work this week.”
It’s SO COLD! We had multiple people trying to pull our office door open today, the wind was so strong. This is perfectly timed!
The news today showed the freeze you Americans are having. It is crazy! I guess you’re not hitting the street very much.
yes, pretty crazy! the walk to work was FREEZING.
So true! And there’s always that one person who says ‘you think this is cold? Back in my day…’
Such a happy time to read Maria Andrew, always … :)
Yes! I spent my snow day yesterday half cleaning my apartment (I’m so much more productive when it comes to “snow” cleaning versus “spring” cleaning!) And half dreaming of new house plants I’m planning on getting when it gets warmer!
LOL! To circumvent winter small talk (and to keep the peace) at Christmas dinner, my husband and I filled plastic Easter eggs with open-ended questions and had our guests take turns opening one per course and having everyone around the table answer. We had a bowl filled with eggs and these were put in play throughout the week at meals by spontaneous demand. Gimmicky, but sometimes you need to use gimmicks to get people off their favorite topics and going below the surface.
Midwest conversation starters practically year round:
1. Hot enough for ya?
2. Cold enough for ya?
I feel this so hard! The low tomorrow in VT is -20 and it’s all we can talk about.
these are cute :) and hopefully the person is wearing a pink fuzzy sweater if you use that one!
This French tart with pull-apart twists is a party showstopper.
