All of these, plus taking a bath!
Loved it! For me, burning incense or a scented candle also works wonders!
This is perfection!
I second the comment about turning these works of arts into prints. I need this one!
And listening to the Sound of Music song ‘Raindrops on roses’ always reminds me to take pleasure in the little things.
I love this illustration. I agree with the commenter Lily, a long walk does cure all! If not a nice 10 min guided meditation video on YouTube sets me on the right path for a little while.

Any recommendations for the youtube meditation? Was looking for a short one the other day and wasn’t finding anything good… thanks!
Boho beautiful has plenty to chose from and a calm voice, I also like her yoga and pilates vids if that’s up your alley too. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWN2FPlvg9r-LnUyepH9IaQ
Love this, so true.
I’d add dancing to a favourite song playing at full volume :)
Wise words indeed, love them! Maybe add listening to your favourite song and /or dancing (Alanis Morisette style “in your living room”).Merry Xmas and Happy New Year Joanna; your team and readers
Tricia from” across the pond”.Your blog is now my favourite one.
A good laugh with a loved one. It makes me realize how angry I was at something when I feel my jaw unclench and my forehead smooth out. Plus if you’re laughing really hard it counts as a sit up in my book. :-)
Love this!!
For me a solo drive always helps. I love to drive and need alone time to recharge. Some of my favorite music and feeling the freedom of the road always helps me reset my brain.
When I lived in Seattle I would drive over Lake Washington and into the mountains when I really needed some space. It was the perfect blend of city, water, and mountains all at once.
Love these. Also: Performing a random act of kindness. A long soak in a bathtub (candles optional!). Making a batch of cookies. Meditating.
Love this! But I think the “time spend with a child or animal” should specify not your own (but maybe I’m just saying this because my dog has a terrible intestinal sickness right now and I find that time with my kids often makes me more anxious).
I would add a kitten belly after a long hard day. There’s only joy in the kitten belly, everything else disappears.
Oh man, kitten bellies. Yes.
Love these and this is her best one yet!
Thank you for this! I needed it today. I just got back from walking my dog and now she’s curled up on my lap.
Oh how I wish Mari sold prints. I would definitely hang this one on my wall at home.
This weekend, the boys and I cuddled up...
Three easy meals for when you. can't. even.
Whenever my dad comes to visit...
