I stumbled across this ad campaign this morning and can’t stop looking at it. I love it.
It can’t truly work, I think this way.
ball joint | personal injury compensation | party finger foods
that’s one happy baby :)
Why are the anti-breastfeeding (or pro-formula, maybe) women so hostile? Breastfeeding is so natural and lovely, and I don’t see how formula-fed babies have the bonding with their mother that breastfeeding provides. I just love the connection that breastfeeding gives me to my 10-week-old baby, it’s priceless.
Best nursing pads I know of are Lansinoh. I didn’t have too painful an experience – only the first few days really hurt. Leaving your breast milk to dry on you, or wearing the damp pads a bit will actually heal you up nicely and quickly. Amazing how nature works. My son is two weeks old and I love feeding him! It’s sweet and not truly all that hard… some days can be frustrating, but not all.
what a beautiful image. this is advertising at its best.
My first child had a bottle of milk at night for what seemed liked forever! I did try to wean him off it but then I discovered that actually it was only the bottle he liked and not really the milk. In fact, he flatly refused the milk unless it was in the bottle, he preferred to go without a drink at all. I let him carry on with it for a while as I really wanted him to have the calcium – but there came a point when I decided ‘no more’ and ever since he never drank milk unless it was with chocolate powder. Such a stubborn child – he still is the most stubborn person I know. My second son was the total opposite – he refused the bottle altogether as I breast fed him for too long.
Yup!
You’ll enjoy every moment of it! Bonding time with baby…

I love this image! I am still breastfeeding my 19 month old and he loves it. thanks for sharing such a beautiful image.
Nice picture, but the latch is incorrect. I think the message would have been better with a correct latch.
Love this. I am b-feeding right now and it is heaven. I will miss it terribly when it’s over….such a special time for mama and bebe. Side note: I ADORE your new header…perfect! Enjoy your last month of pregnancy!
Beautiful. I love the sight of a woman nursing her baby, and when done discreetly cannot understand the fuss someone people see in it. Beautiful, motherly, caring, at one. I breastfed my two (still am with my youngest) and wouldn’t have it any other way.
I am breastfeeding My two week old beautiful little girl, now as I type ( thank goodness for iPhones) in bed, it’s 7 am here in sydney town and autumn has set in. This is my second child and I have found breastfeeding a challenge with both. I did continue till 18 months with my first, now have mastitis with my second. I really think that breastfeeding is one of the hardest challenges the modern woman faces, you need a lot of support from family, lactation consultants and hardwork. But so worth it!
i’m the minority here. that picture freaked me out! i’m all for breastfeeding if you can but i don’t want to watch other women stick their boob in their childs mouth.
if you can breastfeed, WONDERFUL! if you can’t, DON’T HATE YOURSELF! i breastfed for a month but my body just didn’t produce enough. my children ARE JUST FINE with formula and they aren’t overweight.
Adorable pic!! -I cant stop looking at it either- (Please LET my breasts look like that one when its my turn!)
:)
Well, that’s new! Ha! I feel bad for those moms who had trouble nursing because my experiences were so darn easy. And what a $ saver! I never had to buy formula! Plus, not having to heat, wash, store, buy baby bottles was a huge blessing.
Now that I’m almost 12 years out from my last breastfed-given meal, one of mine is a bit lower than the other, which I might attribute to b’feeding. And, seriously, I think they sag more in the end from it, but hey, that’s what good bras are for! I don’t think my husband notices at all, as long as the rest of me is in shape!
Just do one thing: make sure to get a good brand of those things you put in your bra to aoak up milk when you let-down and don’t mean to! Yikes! Breast milk accidentally soaking thru your t-shirt is so embarrassing! Wish I could remember the best brand, but it’s been too long!
We asked six women what they wear the most...
The other night, 10-year-old Anton wandered up to me and said...
"I thought, wait, why is Patrick so dressed up?"
