My mum and I make wreaths out of cranberries every holiday season. We shape them into hearts, which looks super cute!
i have a heart-shaped branch wreath on my door now
I always put up a wreath in December, but it’s not as chic at these!
i used to work at a Lincoln Park boutique called Celeste Turner. We had these square bay wreaths for Christmas, and I just loved them; clean, festive and elegant. Your post reminded me of that. May have to creat one of my own.
I love wreaths. I have wanted to make or buy a magnolia wreath for quite sometime, but they are expensive to buy and I was not entirely sure I am crafty enough to make one. As luck would have it, Southern Living wrote a how-to piece on DYI magnolia wreaths this month and it really does not sound nearly as daunting as I had expected. So, this is the year! I am going to spray paint the leaves with a high gloss red before I assemble it. I’ll post some pics once this project gets underway.
Love the spruce in a bottle by the way–great idea!
I usually make a wreath — haven’t done it yet this year. Still brainstorming!
wreaths are so important. just seeing one on the door makes you feel good.
I made one this year, from scrap linen fabric. It’s a snap to make, and a different take on the classic. Here’s a link to a little tutorial…

oh I love the square wreath! wow – so simple but a different take on a classic!!
i will now that you’ve shown me some awesome ones <3
I did get a wreath this year, but not the gorgeous fresh one I saw in the shop the other day. It was the equivalent of $100 USD and whilst it was divine, I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on the neighbours – who will afterall, be the only ones admiring it whilst I sit inside.
We live in HK, in an apartment block with only 4 other apartments on each floor.
I decided instead to buy a cheaper, fake one, which I do hope the neighbours are enjoying:)
Do you think I would be too cheeky to buy one and keep it on the inside? They smell sooo good and look soo pretty!
Yes, we always have one. I just love it. The square wreath above is cute and unique but I am more of a traditional-loving wreath person. :)
pretty square wreath!

You know that phrase, No matter where you go, there you are? I call bullshit.
A chicken recipe calls for a half cup of red wine, but you never have leftover wine...
