sleeping without the a/c on the last two nights has been amaaaaazing. And the last two mornings have been so fantastic, such great weather to walk to work in.
The hail and the storm was so fun to watch, I’m just sad they never seem to last very long here. I love these days when it isn’t too hot or humid.
Wasn’t the hail exciting!? It felt like the sky was falling.
I remember two years after I moved from Colorado to California, it hailed, and I was utterly confused–hail in california? What’s next, a tornado and snowstorm?

Strange, we had a similar thing (with hail too) all the way up in Kingston, Ontario.
Our day was different! Started out nice and went sour. I think we got YOUR rain tonight. It was so bad, we had a lights out for a while. Storm drains were back flowing it was so hard!!

gosh, this morning was nuts! i live in a basement apartment – so it became very clear to me almost immediately that there was a serious storm!

I miss New York rain. It pours like the world is coming to an end, and then when it clears up, the city has that funny smell – a little musty, but also clean. Enjoy your beautiful evening!
