When Montreal photographer Kate Hutchinson got engaged to her boyfriend, Chris, she began taking photos of him as a way to help figure out if he was, in fact, the guy for her. “This stage in our relationship seemed like an ideal and interesting time to turn my lens on Chris and document all sides of his personality, while querying if marriage was the right choice,” she says. “We continued making this series well beyond our wedding day, because really the questioning and self doubt doesn’t end when you say I do.” What a fascinating and compelling project.
