journalism/chinese — that’s bold! :) i LOVE LOVE LOVE being a writer and editor. i have been obsessed magazines my whole life and can barely finish a conversation without saying “that would make a great article….” i am obsessed with the whole magazine industry. if you are interested, you should definitely explore becoming a writer or editor. i would highly recommend it!
(the cons include insanely volatile bosses, hectic deadlines, constant troubleshooting, high pressure, industry-wide low salaries, low job security….but for me, it’s all worth it:)
