Today, at long last, Alex and I are off to Berlin! Thank you to everyone for the great tips on cool places to eat, things to do and sights to see. Can’t wait to hit the streets and hang out with dudes like these….

hey anon,
we rented an apartment in Potsdamer Platz, so we’ll be exploring the city from there. we’re really open to anything. we might take a day trip — alex is excited about going to Dresden — but we haven’t officially planned one yet.
thank you!

joanna-
where are you staying when you go to berlin? and where else will you be going?
A beautiful place to go to is C/O Berlin Gallery
(co-berlin.com), another place to feel well and find nice things is the Stilwerk Berlin (Kantstraße 17 near by the station Zoologischer Garten). And Berlin has a lot flewmarkets on sundays, always a pleassure Bernauer Straße (Station). Best Sushi in town are made by kuchi.de. What else, Mitte is where everything happens (right in the *middle* of berlin). Take a few walks there (start Oranienburger Straße) and you’ll find nice little shops in nice little streets with young designers, some arties and really good food. CU in Berlin;o)
Joanna- I head out tonight, so stay tuned to http://www.pretavoyager.blogspot.com for more ideas and resources over the next couple weeks. Can’t wait! And thank you to all your wonderful readers who posted comments and gave me more ideas for my trip.
cheers!
Anne
